Application for Rate Relief – COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

We understand that Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting on our community.

Council has therefore decided to provide the following financial relief to ratepayers during this difficult time:

  • No fines or interest charged on rates that are currently overdue, until 1 November 2020
  • Flexible payment arrangement options (weekly, fortnightly or monthly)
  • Postponed payment of fourth quarter 2019/2020 rates and first quarter 2020/2021 rates (with no fines or interest), until 1 November 2020

Access to financial hardship relief due to COVID-19 will be granted upon application. We will confirm your arrangement once the application is processed.

Lodgement

To minimise the spread of COVID-19, and in accordance with Federal Government guidelines to stay home, we encourage ratepayers to avoid attending the Mallala Principal Office. Instead, you may:
