DrumMUSTER
DrumMUSTER provides an easy, environmentally-friendly way of disposing of empty farming chemical containers across rural Australia.
DrumMuster collection is an ongoing service available at the Mallala Resource Recovery Centre, Limerock Road Lower Light. Bookings are essential and can be made by Contacting Council on (08) 8527 0200 or Council's Civil Construction and Maintenance Officer on 0418 839 130.
DrumMUSTER Collection
We have changed our DrumMUSTER collection from a specific day, to an ongoing service.
Where: Mallala Resouce Recovery Centre, Limerock Road, Lower Light
Appointments must be made to deliver these containers
Containers must be:
- Triple or pressure rinsed
- Clean - no chemical residue
- Metal containers must be punctured from the inside
- Lids must be covered
- All containers will be inspected by a DrumMUSTER inspector on delivery
Only DrumMUSTER eligible containers will be accepted.
Illegal Dumping
Illegal dumping continues to be of considerable concern because of indiscriminate illegal activity, environmental harm and clean-up costs.
KESAB environmental solutions, Environment Protection Authority and local government are working towards new strategies and actions to combat illegal dumping and its impacts.
