Adelaide Plains Business Group
Welcome to the Adelaide Plains Business Group. This group of business people aims to support and improve the economic viability and resilience of the local economy, industry, tourism and businesses within the Adelaide Plains.
Its function is to:-
- Support local business within the Adelaide Plains Council area and the Small Business Friendly Council Initiative;
- Provide local business input into implementation of the Adelaide Plains Tourism and Economic Development Strategy (TEDS);
- Advocate for businesses to be informed and participate in regional and state‐wide partnerships and/or initiatives which contribute to influencing policies that support the local economy;
- Promote the advantages of participating in business networking events;
- Encourage businesses to comment on State and Local Government infrastructure and services that are impacting on the growth potential for the district;
- Maintain relationships with Regional Development Australia Barossa Gawler Light Adelaide Plains, Northern Adelaide Plains Food Cluster, relevant regional tourism organisation and any other associated organisations whom support our business community.

In an effort to strengthen the economic foundation of the Adelaide Plains area, the Adelaide Plains Business Group (the Group) extends a warm invitation to business owners and their dedicated teams to join their committee.
With a mission to enhance economic viability, foster resilience, and forge connections across industries, tourism, and local businesses, the Group is actively seeking passionate individuals ready to contribute their skills and experiences.
