Community Bus
Adelaide Plains Council provides a monthly bus to the Elizabeth City Centre on the third Friday of each month.
Departing Mallala, the bus travels to Elizabeth via Parham, Dublin, Two Wells and Lewiston. Additional stops along the normal travel route including Lower Light and Lewiston may be arranged to suit passenger needs.
Cost: $5 return trip, children under 16 may travel free, but must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings are essential.

Community Car
The Mid North Community Passenger Network provides transport options for residents who are unable to access transport to medical, health and some personal appointments.
A community car based at Mallala is available for residents to attend medical or health appointments locally or in metropolitan areas. Accredited volunteer drivers collect passengers from their home and transport them to and from their appointment. Carers may travel free but must remain with the client at all times.
Eligible residents may be taken to medical, health and hospital appointments and some shopping and social activities (conditions apply).
This fee for service option provides flexibility and is available for appointment between 10am and 2pm Monday – Friday. Fees are based on distance travelled and include the return trip.
Veteran Affairs Gold cardholders may be entitled to service fee reimbursement. Outpatients of the Flinders Medical Centre, Royal Adelaide, Queen Elizabeth or Modbury Hospitals may also be eligible for reimbursement for all or part of travel costs.

Medical Bus
In addition to its community cars, the MNCPN supports a Medical Bus Service that runs four days per week to any metropolitan medical or specialist rooms. There is provision for a carer to travel with you, and the bus is fitted with a wheel chair lift to enable access to all residents.
Veteran Affairs Gold cardholders may be entitled to service fee reimbursement. Outpatients of the Flinders Medical Centre, Royal Adelaide, Queen Elizabeth or Modbury Hospitals may also be eligible for reimbursement for all or part of travel costs.
