Building Fire Safety Committee
The Building Fire Safety Committee oversees building fire safety within the Council area.
About the committee
The Building Fire Safety Committee is a mandatory committee established under section 157(17) of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.
The committee is responsible for matters which are of a building and fire safety nature.
Committee members are determined by Council in accordance with the committee’s Terms of Reference.

The committee meets a minimum of 3 times each calendar year.
Special meetings may be held at any time at the determination of the presiding member.
