Audit and Risk Committee Meeting

Our Audit & Risk Committee is mandatory under section 126, and established under section 41, of the Local Government Act 1999. The committee provides independent assurance and advice to Council on accounting, financial management, internal controls, risk management and governance matters.
Meetings
The committee has at least 1 meeting each quarter.
The meetings are held in accordance with the committee’s Terms of Reference, Part 1, 2 and 4 of the Local Government (Procedures at Meetings) Regulations 2013 and Part A of Council’s Code of Practice – Meeting Procedures.
Attending meetings
Anyone can attend our meetings to observe in person. You do not need to register to attend in advance.
Please do not attend meetings if you are unwell or have any cold or flu symptoms.
