By-law consultation
Council have resolved to make new by-laws to replace existing by-laws which expire on 1 January 2027.
By-laws apply to all residents and visitors to the Adelaide Plains Council area. Designed to assist council in creating convenient, safe and comfortable community spaces, they typically regulate the use of council land and roads, including the placement of moveable signs, and also animals on residential premises.
Your responses can influence what activities are permitted under the various by-laws.
Copies of the by-laws can be viewed online or in the Two Wells and Mallala Council offices.
Consultation closes 9am Thursday 18 June 2026. A summary of by-law changes, copies of the by-laws and a feedback form are available on Council’s consultation website.
