Our offices, and some of our services, will close for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

Contact us

Our phones, emails and social media will close at 5pm on Tuesday 23 December, and reopen at 9am Monday 5 January.

You can request a service or report a non-urgent issue by email, online form, or click ‘report it’ on the My Local Services app and we will action it when we reopen in 2026.

For Council emergencies, our phone line can transfer your call while we’re closed.

Bin collection

If your kerbside bin is due to be collected on a public holiday, it will be emptied the day after.

For example, if your kerbside bin is due to be collected on the 25th or 26th of December, or the 1st or 2nd of January, it will be emptied the day after it is due.
