The roundabout works are progressing well, with a scheduled completion date of early December 2023.

For the final phase of construction, the contractor requires the full closure of Old Port Wakefield Rd, between Gawler Rd and Mallala Rd.

Approval was granted by the Department of Infrastructure and Transport to open up Windmill Rd at the northern end to allow vehicular traffic from Gawler Rd and Old Port Wakefield to access Mallala Rd and vice versa. Below is a Traffic Management Plan which will be in place for the next 6 weeks, leading up to the completion of the project.

The Traffic Management Plan also caters for pedestrians to and from Liberty estate to transit the construction zone safely.
