Development Approval for Xavier College

Published 14th February 2020

Adelaide Plains Council (APC) is delighted to announce the recent approval granted by Council’s Assessment Panel (CAP) for the construction of Xavier College at Two Wells. The Development Application was considered by CAP on 5 February 2020, with Panel Members voting in favour of the development proposal.

The works will involve construction of the education facility, including associated landscaping and car parking. The College will be located within the new Liberty Estate, with plans to open in 2021.

In response to the development approval, Mayor Wasley said, “I have been very impressed by the Xavier College at Gawler. In my discussions with Senior College Staff, there is a great sense of excitement of what is in store for Two Wells”.

We anticipate that information sessions will be held to provide the APC community with details on a variety of aspects relating to the Xavier College Two Wells campus.

“With the Liberty Housing Development well underway, we will soon see the groundwork and other activities relevant to the new College occurring”, stated Mayor Wasley.

A copy of the report and minutes from the CAP meeting held on 5 February 2020 are available on Council’s website at www.apc.sa.gov.au/our‐council/meetings‐of‐council/committeesofcouncil/council‐assessment‐panel.
