Mallala CWMS - Waiving of Administration Fees
Adelaide Plains Council (APC) will continue to waive the administration fee for applications to connect to the Mallala Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) up to and including 30 June 2021.
Mayor Wasley said, “The majority of Mallala properties are connected to the CWMS and so by continuing to waive these fees, Council is encouraging remaining property owners to follow suit”.
If more properties are connected to the CWMS, there is a reduced likelihood of public and environmental health concerns. There are also practical benefits for residents in terms of more usable private open space.
Residents can be reassured that the CWMS is regularly monitored and is operating efficiently. This includes the use of treated water for irrigation purposes at both the Mallala Oval and Primary School.
Council takes this opportunity to strongly encourage Mallala property owners who are not currently connected to the CWMS to utilise this opportunity to connect without having to pay administration fees.
