Two Wells roundabout update: Windmill Road detour
Traffic management and detours are expected to be in place for around 12 weeks.
Windmill Road in Two Wells was reshaped and spray sealed in preparation for the detour.
Following conversation with some affected residents, it was clear the dust and mud from the previous detour in 2023 was not acceptable. We successfully negotiated with the construction company to have Windmill Road reshaped and spray sealed, funded by the construction company.
Stage 2 involves work on the roundabout’s north eastern section to better allow for freight, and a detour is required to complete construction. This project is being managed by the developer, Hickinbotham. The developer has engaged a contractor to undertake construction work.
